Ferries & Flights From Gran Canaria To Other Islands
The best thing about the Canary Islands is that there are 7 of them! And they are very close from each other.
You can even see one from the other! And if you want to visit another island, you have two options. You can either take a Ferry or a short Flight…
Personally, I prefer Ferries. Not only because I can take my car with me, but because I really enjoy staring 'hypnotized' into the sea while the wind blows into my face.
And a small pool always helps!
You can take you car with you to all of the other 6 Islands...

If you stay at 'Casas Camino Tamadaba' it's really easy to go to Tenerife for the day. The small fishing port of Agaete is only 10 minutes away!
However, if you get sea-sick...you might want to take a flight from Gran Canaria to the other islands.
The first thing we have to tell you is that...you won't be flying on a Boing 007!
You'll probably be on an ATR 72–500.
An ATR 72–500 is a plane with two propellers. And when you are on one...it can sometimes feel as if you were on a bus with wings attached. So if you're scared of turbulence you might want to think twice.
However, they are safe!
